The place was exactly as described and very lovely, with everything thought of and beautifully furnished.
We had a lovely stay in York, made all the more effortlessly pleasurable by staying at Alison’s place. She was very proactive and accommodating despite some last minute requests we had (thank you again for your understanding, Alison!).

Perfect York apartment for our weekend at the races. The location was a 5min walk into the centre of York. It was 10-15mins walk to the Malmaison and Star Inn the City where we’d booked drinks. There’s a good sized Tesco and Sainsbury’s just a 2min walk away.
Ample space for 4 adults and the kitchen was new and spotlessly clean.
Shower pressure was good and the beds were comfy. Check in instructions were very clear and the communication from Alison was perfect with quick responses to any questions.
We all agreed we’d definitely stay again if visiting York

Fantastic stay in York! We spent five nights here in peak summer with our two kids.
Location: Perfect. Right in the centre, making it easy to pop back for quick rests.
Comfort: Clean and modern. Despite the hot weather, the fans and windows kept the rooms very cool.
Amenities: Spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed.
Host: Allison was super helpful and extremely responsive.
A wonderful option for anyone visiting the city!

This apartment made us so happy! It's stylish, comfortable and generous, and could not have been more perfect for our stay. The location is absolutely ideal, really easy to reach and park, with local supermarkets and restaurants almost as close as historical locations, we walked everywhere and really appreciated the huge sofa to sit and chill when we got back. It's incredibly well equipped and feels really thoughtful. Loved it and would come back in a heartbeat!
